Käthe Swaback has twenty years experience working in the field of Youth Arts, fifteen years as an effective administrator, and seven years as an evaluator.

In July 2008, an anonymous foundation awarded RAW Art Works a three-year grant for Swaback to lead the Boston Youth Arts Evaluation Project. By working with other youth arts programs and experts in evaluation in Boston and around the country, the hope is to better understand and begin to elevate the evaluation practices in the Youth Arts field.

October 2005, Swaback was a panelist in the “Best Practices for Out-of-School Arts” session at the Measuring Up: Strategies for Evaluating and Assessing Arts Education Programs national conference in Boston.

Spring 2004, Swaback served as a review panelist for the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Youth Reach Grants.

November 2002, Swaback served as a panelist on the Arts Education Leadership Grant Panel for the Oregon Arts Commission.
